It's the easiest way anyone with a smartphone can make money online because

There 2 ways to make money in affiliate marketing,

- You make money as an affiliate marketer promoting other people's products and services or

- You make money as a vendor or creator of the product when affiliate marketers promote on your behalf and make sales.

In this article I will only be talking about you making money through affiliate marketing as an affiliate marketer.

This is because for you to be a vendor or product creator, you need to be an expert at a certain field and this involves more work. This will be treated in another topic on how to create ebooks and sell online.

Making money through affiliate marketing as an affiliate marketer,

- You need little or no money to start

- You can have a small business that can earn you big money without having a product of your own

- You don't need any technical knowledge about the internet

- You don't need to have previous experience

- You can make additional income working from home

Assuming you decided to start making money through affiliate marketing from today, What are the steps you will follow to start making money if you have never tried anything like this before?

Trust, I'm going to show you all the steps without leaving anything out.

Affiliate marketing was difficult before but not any more since the discovery of how one can use WhatsApp to promote affiliate marketing products. Newbies are now able to make close 100k weekly by recommending other people's product through WhatsApp and you will also discover how to do the same.


These are the steps you need to follow to start getting paid big affiliate commissions.



1. Join an affiliate network, this is where you will get access to products you can promote. Example of affiliate networks currently working in Nigeria is expertnaire, sabimentors, skilldio, selar, learnoflix etc

2. Login and go the market place on your choice affiliate network, select a product you will like to promote and get your affiliate link

3. Decide on the sales funnel you will like to use example is traffic source directly to affiliate product landing page, traffic source toforumsApp chat to affiliate product landing page, traffic source to lead capture page to email to affiliate product landing there are lot of them and each one have it's own advantage and disadvantages.

However the most common one you would have tried in the past or you have seen everyone do on Facebook is traffic source to affiliate landing page. Just like you write a simple or short post on Facebook and ad your affiliate link to it.

Your traffic source is Facebook and you are sending everyone that click the link in your post directly to the affiliate product landing page.


4. Start driving traffic to your preferred sale funnel.

1. Posting on social medias like Facebook groups, Facebook timelines, twitter, Instagram, Instagram stories, Pinterest etc

2. Writing a blog and seo optimised articles

3. Making a review video and posting on YouTube

4. Posting on WhatsApp groups and telegram groups, sending DM to contacts you already have through WhatsApp and also telegram

5. Posting on niche related forums. Join forums like nairaland, write about your affiliate product and post in the relevant section. But you need to be careful so that nairaland doesn't ban your account.

Paid traffic sources

1. News paper Ads, buy a slot on a news paper and put your ads there with your website or affiliate links

2. Pay influencer on Instagram do do a shout out about your product

3. Pay WhatsApp TV to post your affiliate link on their WhatsApp status.

4. Run a Facebook Ads

5. Run google ppc ads

6. Do banner ads advert on forums like the nairaland,

7. Run Bing Ads

8. Run YouTube Ad

9. Do guest post or pay a blogger to post articles you have written by yourself on the high traffic blog or have them write and post the article on their blog for you while they embed your affiliate link

10. Run twitter Ad.
